A win counts when both players have an account and both games see the same winner. 5 wins a day at most against the same opponent.

    How it works

    1. 1Your ISO

Drop the image of your own Def Jam: Fight for NY disc (PAL version). It stays on your computer.

    2. 2Your opponent

Create a room and send the code to a friend, or start a quick match against a stranger.

    3. 3The fight

Both browsers run the same game, frame by frame. Only your gamepads go over the network.

    FAQ

What do I need to play?

A computer with an up-to-date Chrome or Edge, and the ISO image of your own Def Jam: Fight for NY disc, PAL version (SLES-52507). The site provides no game files.

    Is my ISO uploaded anywhere?

No. The browser reads the file straight from your disk, piece by piece, as the game needs it. It only keeps the permission to read it again: on your next visit, one click is enough.

How do I play with a friend?

Choose “Online”, then “Create a private room”. Send the code or the link to your friend: as soon as they join, the fight starts on both sides. They need the same version of the game.

Why a small delay on the controls?

Both browsers run exactly the same fight, frame by frame. Each press reaches your opponent a few frames ahead (2 to 10 depending on your ping), so both games stay identical. The closer you are, the snappier it feels.

The game lags or the screen is black.

The game needs WebGPU. Keep the resolution at 1× on a modest computer, plug your laptop in, and keep the tab visible during an online fight.

    Are my saves kept?

In solo, the memory card is stored in your browser. You can export it as a .ps2 file (PCSX2 compatible) from the settings, or import one. With an account, it is also backed up online. Online play uses a separate blank card, so both players start from the same state.

Write it down somewhere: it's the only way to get your account back if you forget your password. It won't be shown again.
